My name is Christian. I've been working with dogs for over ten years.
I got into training dogs because i was doing foster and rescue, and wanted to help the dogs learn good manners so they could be happy and find good homes.
As a child, my family dogs were a big German Shepherd and a tiny Toy Fox Terrier. I grew up with a deep appreciation and love for dogs, and view the bond they share with humans as a precious thing.
I've learned more from dogs than i've ever taught them, by a wide margin.
I relate with all kinds of dogs and understand the various struggles they experience as they adjust to living in the world.
The psychology behind my interaction with dogs is that of using patience and organic communication to connect with them on a level that they embrace.
This provides a foundation that enables them to relax and feel safe and heard, so they can communicate without anxiety and in a positive and happy manner.
By connecting with a dog and forming a bond that is based on trust and respect, i provide them with the education and guidance to relax and learn new habits that will integrate into their long-term behavior.
